Working principle and characteristics
In an inductive circuit, the current vector lags the voltage vector by 90°, while in a capacitive circuit, the current vector leads the voltage vector by 90°. Therefore, parallel capacitors in a circuit dominated by inductive loads have the opposite direction of the current vector and reactive components. Can offset each other, thereby improving the power factor of the local power grid, achieving the purpose of saving energy and improving the quality of the power grid.
GWJ-J series adopts the contactor group switching method, automatically controls the capacitor switching according to the power factor level, so that the power factor meets the set requirements;
GWJ-D series dynamic reactive power compensation device has TCR+TSC mode, also can be independent TCR mode and single TSC mode, TCR+TSC mode is mainly composed of phase-controlled reactor, filter bank and control system.
1. No inrush current: the controller selects the pulse signal when the voltage crosses zero, the thyristor valve group is turned on at the time the voltage crosses zero, the capacitor voltage starts from zero, no transition process, no inrush current, and can be in the root mean square value Continuous operation under current not exceeding 1.0×1.30In.
2. No over-voltage: The shutdown of the capacitor bank is based on the thyristor reverse blocking current zero-crossing and natural shutdown, which will not produce the inherent cut-off current-carrying over-voltage of conventional short-circuiters and contactors. The continuous operating voltage of the device is 1.05Un. And it can run for the corresponding time under the steady-state overvoltage specified in the table below.
3. Strong adaptability: implement three-phase or split-phase dynamic compensation, suitable for asymmetric load or impact load.
4. Fast dynamic response speed: the controller implements tracking and measuring the power factor of the load, compares it with the preset value, and dynamically controls the switching of different groups of capacitors (dynamic response time is less than 15ms) to ensure that the power factor is always Meet the set requirements.
5. The system has strong anti-interference ability: the photoelectric trigger mode is adopted to ensure the effective isolation of high and low voltage circuits, strong anti-interference ability, good trigger synchronization, and safe and reliable operation.
6. Long service life: The thyristor switch can be used for a long time due to its lack of mechanical action, and the service life is not less than 25 years, generally longer. The contactor switching capacitor bank is easy to burn the closing coil and opening coil, and needs to be replaced from time to time.
7. Maintenance-free: The thyristor switch is oil-free, airless, and has no vulnerable parts, and can be used for a long time without maintenance. For heavily polluted areas, regular cleaning may be required.
8. Good compensation effect: it can dynamically compensate reactive power in real time, suppress harmonics, suppress voltage flicker, reduce network loss and transformer loss, and increase transformer load capacity.
